Week has flown by!
Last night I referenced some photos from our day on Carrol Rd. This is a water color about16x 20".I chose to use more intense colors and outline the images of QueenAnne's Lace with deep black. I will definitely pursue this technique in some of my future paintings.
Continuing the theme of intense color and outlining, I experimented with abstract shapes based on my landscape photos from the past week.
(p.s...this photo appears to be quite a bit darker thanmy original art work)Although this piece resembles
a collage, in fact, it is a water color with white and
black outlines (11x17)
Critiques went extremely well.
It was so beneficial to see everyones' progress. How wonderful to see all the growth and development!
Can't begin to explain how many doors and
windows this class has opened for ME....I was at a point in my life where I truly needed some inspiration to pull me out of a rut. The future looks so much brighter now. It has been a remarkable and rewarding experience.
Thank you Nora!
