On day five I returned to the Chateau to work on the foreground of my landscape painting. I had to work out some perspective details with the fence posts and grape vines, as well as adding color to my foreground.
Overall the week of landscape painting outdoors was INCREDIBLY valuable to my art education. I have improved my ability to percieve the subtle differences in landscape value, mix colors (prior to this I generally used white to tint and black to shade!) and improve my line perspective.
I plan to return to the penninsula area this coming week to do some followup painting, giving myself more needed experience with landscapes. THANK YOU NORA!
