Day 4 - Chateau Chantal! What a gorgeous site. I set up intending to do an oil painting, but after Nora demoed in charcoal, I decided to do a quick sketch of what I wanted to paint - in an effort to have a good understanding of the values. My quick sketch turned into an all day drawing. I was having so much fun toward the end with the mark making that it was hard to stop! It was great putting on the charcoal and using the eraser as a drawing tool, as well.
