On our fourth day we went to Chateau Chantel. After my first day disaster at the Grey Hare Inn I was a little hesitant to tackle the vineyard thing again. But, yesterday's beautiful day at the beach had given me some confidence. I chose a spot overlooking a vast landscape and took my time again mixing colors to get the background values correct.
The landscape painting was much more successful than day one in terms of perspective, color value to give a sense of recession in the background and a good variety of brush strokes for texture. I am still going to add some color to the foreground to add some interest.
