Watercolor 12 x 16
Day 2 was rainy and I had decided to work inside, but on my way back to the school the weather made the bay, sky, and opposite shore have this beautiful misty gray color. I snapped a photo and decided to work in watercolor from the photo back at the school (since I was so disappointed with my try at oils the day before). I ended up with 3 stripes of primary color by the end of the day. Not what I had seen or envisioned! So here we have it after several more days of messing around - it is far closer to the original feeling of the misty gray day than before - no masterpiece, but still helping me to learn my lesson of the power of revisiting failed work.
