I spent a portion of the morning taking landscape photos around the area. There are some amazing sunflower fields located off Highway 31 just north of Yuba. Wow!!
Go there in the morning ....its fantastic. I am so excited by the prospect of using my photos for inspiration.
Later I experimented with a media that I have never used, pastels. This is a drawing of the lighthouse on Old Mission point. (12" x 18")
It was more difficult than expected but I think I am going to take more time to work with it in the future.
